I am a multimedia artist specializing in paint, collage and print media. My work reflects my experiences (moving frequently, traveling avidly, and living among many different cultures), and my fascination with the grandeur of nature. 

I include a complicated density of forms in my work, mirroring the feeling of exploring new places. I enjoy detailing the minutia while maintaining a cohesive whole.

I am inspired by the possibilities inherent in different media. I use oil sticks, acrylics, collage, relief print and digital media. I try out new modes to express the same ideas, in order to see how the ideas might change.

My work reflects the complexity that I feel is inherent in our increasingly globalized, interconnected world. I think there is beauty in the complexity, and an innate impulse in most of us to try to untangle it. My work is about playing with perspectives and imagination as a way to indulge that impulse.
